Join the Friends of the Strafford County Family Justice Center!

The purpose of the Friends shall be to maintain an association of persons interested in supporting the Family's Justice Center's mission of providing quality services and programs to victims of domestic violence, through fundraising, philanthropy and outreach. The Friends of the FJC will raise funds in accordance with the directive of the Executive Director of the FJC and/or the Advisory Council of the Strafford County Family Justice Center. Funds may be used for operations, capital expenses, program needs, facilities, and staffing costs which directly benefit the FJC.

We recognize that folks have varying commitments, skills and talents, so we seek a balanced board that encompasses and accommodates a variety of interests and schedules. Members are needed to help generate fundraising ideas; to participate in/influence fundraising efforts by one or more of the following, fundraising planning, networking, outreach, solicit contributions/sponsorships, assist with recruitment of new board members, and event planning.
